Can i purchase insurance for a vehicle that my parents still reasonably own?

My parents legally own the vehicle that I have driven for the end 6 years in Texas. This year I got married and purchased my own insurance policy. We a moment ago had the car re-registered within June in the county they live in. To put aside from having to get it registered again within the county I live in if they sign over the title we thought about merely keeping things the way they are until next year. Will i run into any endorsed problems by maintaining an insurance policy for the vehicle even though I do not own it?
