Thinking of switching to Progressive Insurance?

Would like to know if anyone has Progressive Insurance for auto insurance. Would approaching to switch to them from Farmers because I can double my coverage for the same price as Farmers. Has anyone had problems beside Progressive such as filing a claim? or rate increases for no reason. I hold not had an accident surrounded by over 14 years, knock on wood. Just afraid if I switch my rates will go up for no reason. I know within is good and bad nearly Progressive. Any input would help. I live in California
