Should I use Progressive or Geico insurance?
Both of these insurance companies have significantly lower rates than what I currently pay at American Family, but by switching am I going to return with discount service as well?
I am a 25 year old masculine with two accidents and one speeding ticket surrounded by the past five years. Currently pay around close to $1000/6mo at AmFam, both Geico and Progressive are close to $500/6mo.

i would love to know what you are driving because i am paying $700/6mo on a 04 nissan sentra and i am 38yr female next to a clean record....am going through progressive...lemme make clear to you these guys are great...you should get a discount if you are up for renewal and have no lapse surrounded by coverage....i got my car stuck and call my ins agent and apparently i was paying for roadside assistance (like $3 a month on my premium)...so i called them and a tow truck come in like 30 min and get my car unstuck all at no charge to me....yeah i approaching progressive
Please patently review what they are giving you and make sure that you're not getting a lower amount of coverage at a lower price. I know that American Family generally doesn't write low hamper policies, but Geico and Progressive do.. both of those companies don't like to discuss coverages with you any so you might be jumping into this without even realize that they've set you up with lower limits! Best entity to do is pull out your Declarations Page (or call AmFam and ask them for your coverages), consequently have both companies do a run-down of your coverages with them. Make sure you're really getting other.
As for the discount services.. Geico and Progressive are two of the top six companies in the industry. On a case-by-case basis, lots of customers might own complaints but generally speaking? They do what they do well. I individually wouldn't go with any but I'm an insurance snob. ;) Either company should be more then able to impart you what you need!
Good luck! Source(s): I'm an Insurance Agent.
If you're sure you're comparing apples to apples, and have the same coverage from both companies, choose whichever you prefer.
As a personal choice, I own Progressive and get wonderful service from them.
I would go with esurance.com they be $200 cheaper every 6 months than Geico for me.

I've had both and would unquestionably recommend Progressive. I had a minor fender bender a few weeks ago and they handled it flawlessly. The chance happened on Monday, my car be fixed by Thursday with no out of pocket deductible. A claims rep was surrounded by contact with me everyday with updates. Plus they are lower priced than any other insurance company within the area.
I dont have any personal experience w/ geico, but I have to read aloud I haven't heard the best things about them any. I have progressive, and I've been w/ them for years. They are pretty carnival and I've never had a problem w/ customer service. Just make sure that the quotes that you received be comparable in coverages, and that that's not the reason they are so much lower.
I work for an insurance company within NC and if I had to choose between the two companies, I would go next to Progressive versus GEICO. GEICO doesn't have a very pious reputation in our area.
I chew over the best thing to do is compare about their services, rates, policies and other things that relateover the moonar insurance. You can try to use their site, try to visit this one http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com for your reference. Goodluck
Have you looked into essurance? I found it to be significantly lower and I like them profoundly
