How will a "Failure to abide by a posted traffic sign" affect my Progressive insurance within Pennsylvania?
Are there points associated with that betrayal? Will my insurance go up? This is my first speeding ticket. Other than this, I have a verbs driving record.
Answers:
Go to school, get rid of the points
No. It's a no-points ticket, and the officer cut you a break.
The way the PA system works (I live surrounded by PA) is the justice system tries to keep you doing a tour and driving so they can ticket you more. They can't ticket you if you lose your license and insurance over points, so 99% of the tickets you get can be pled down to no-points or you're simply issued no points tickets in lieu of a more severe ticket. Source(s): Personal Experience, and thousands within speeding tickets over my lifetime.
Well, look at it logically.
Your job, as a driver, is to observe all traffic laws and posted signs. And to be observant of such.
You inferior in that task.
So whether it's one point or plentiful, insurance companies will immediately have their eye on you, because it wasn't close to it was an accident that be out of your control.
There was a sign that was substantial enough for others to see and obey, and you didn't.
Your insurance may stir up, and if you do it again, the penalties will be exponentially steep.
