Has anyone get insurance online consequently straight after get due online?
Im wondering if this will be a problem? will the insurance be on the dvla database if you have only purely purchased it online? i need to get charge and insurance for tomorrow and i wanted todo both online is this going to cause a problem have anyone ever done this all in indistinguishable go?

usually its ok, but sometimes if you insure a car straight away later buy tax, the insurance database might not have be updated in time.
some times it can take upto 7 days...
i do not know if this counts but my insurance be on-line but ran out on 30Th of month and the 1st fell on Sunday so could not do tax at post bureau so did it on line and it was fine as my strange insurance kicked in on the 1st nothing happen to me while waiting for new tax disk it come through three days later on the 3rd.
I did it within going on for 10 mins of each other, the insurance first then the excise. Got the tax through and everything seemed ok.
I hadn't realised the link between DVLA and MID (Motor Insurance Database) be that effective. Currently, online purchasing of tax etc is usually single possible where the underlying insurance policy has be in force for long enough to hold been uploaded to the MID.
However, the proof is in the pudding so if other relations say it works, I guess it must work.
It should be okay, you're only predetermined by finger speed at the insurers entering the details on the database; I'd give 'em a few minutes . . .
