Can I find insurance on my engagement ring online if I'm Canadian?
I'm looking for a website to insure my engagement ring but most seem to be only for Americans. Does anyone know of any that I can use, that's legit?
*The origin I can't go to an insurance company is because I'm currently teaching ESL within South Korea.
Thanks in advance!
I've never heard of man able to buy insurance just for an engagement ring. If you own a home you can make the addition of it on to your homeowners insurance, or renters insurance. There will be an extra fee, when we added mine onto our homeowners insurance it was an extra $150 per year. Hope this help!
Insurance in Canada is regulated differently than in the US (which is why it's more secure). You'll own to arrange for insurance via e-mail because insurance has to be offered by agents, who are mainly small businessmen minus huge fancy websites. Find an insurance broker in your hometown or your eventual residence and e-mail them.
"> Good god why insure the worthless rock.....I market them.....and fact is NO insurance company makes it confident to insure...geez, fill out police reports, bring back pictures of your most recent time wearing it., bla bla bla....later they dont want to pay appraisal value...lone REPLACEMENT value, what is on your credit card. Example somebody buys a cheap diamond from me for $1999 but the replacement value is $899sure if you go to Tiffany, but my website is NOT Tiffany...so they are only giving you what you paid IF they ever clear out on it...they dont pay for homes blown away in a Hurricane do you muse they are going to jump through hoops to pay out on for a moment pebble? No disrespect intended but mathmatically why pay a premium for 30 years to find out you have be paying basically extra money on something very few are likely to pay out on.....think something like it.
