I want to purchase private form insurance for my husband and I, where on earth can I look online ?
We have health insurance through my employer which costs me appx $480 per month.....plenty of that crap, I'm sure I can get it cheaper by buying it privately! Any good websites?

Believe or not I hear SAMS CLUB is offering Health Insurance now. Check this article out and maybe progress to their website for the rest of the skinny. http://www.bizjournals.com/nashville/sto…
I hope this is of some assistance.
Nope stay near you employer because they get group coverage. You might try your auto insurance agent they handle more than of late auto coverage. Also if you go with something online research it ably. You sound like you hold an attitude problem with your employer. If I could get coverage for $480 per month I would hop on it in a heart beat. Even for an HMO thats cheap. Source(s): Former Union rep. over 20 years USWA.

Do not try to do this over the internet. It'll take you several days to intelligently compare adjectives the plans available. Also, if you have any pre-existing conditions that might add a rider to the policy or effect you to be declined or if you are out of the height and bulk guidelines you won't know until you've applied and gone through the underwriting process.
If you call an independent agent you can receive quotes for your particular situation from many of the core companies. It doesn't cost anything to use an agent and you'll find out if you can get something better. However, usually a group policy is much cheaper than an individual policy because the employer picks up a large portion of the premium. Source(s): Independent Agent
I query Google about your question and one of the top 3 be "Affordable Health Insurance" website.
Hope you find something more reasonable. Source(s): http://www.affordable-health-insurance-p…
Well, likely you're wrong. If you're both 30 and healthy, it's going to cost you in the order of $300 a month EACH. If you're not healthy, likely not a soul is going to want to insure you at all, or they'll exclude all coverage relateecstatichatever is wrong with you. AND, you won't find any maternity benefits on a private policy, if you're interested.
BUT, going online is the WRONG place, because respectively state has it's own requirements - so sorting through the 300 different plans Blue Cross has is going to be a cramp in the neck. You want to get hold of prices from a local agent, who knows who has closely of local providers in your area.
Find a local agent, win your quotes, and just for yucks, please email me back beside how much MORE it's going to cost to get coverage on your own.
Good luck, and have fun. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
