Does motor insurance become invalidated if you receive money for transporting stuff or race?

Answers: I would contact the insurance company. they will use any excuse not to pay out on a claim, so be on the safe side and agree to them know. The premiums will more than likely go up though.
it may not become invalid. if the company you are insured near, would have insured you anyway if you had declared it and you own a claim - they will charge you the extra premium. ie if you have social domestic and pleasure insurance and you paid lb500, but they would own charged lb700 for business use, then they will charge you the lb200 extra before dealing next to yoru claim. if they wouldnt have covered you, then they can throw your claim out and negated the insurance policy. you are better off ringing them to find out if it would cost you any extra.
If you start transporting commodities or people for profit, you are now a commercial scheme and will need commercial plates and commercial insurance. Even as "pizza delivery" using your own car, you'd inevitability a commercial policy to be covered. Call your agent.
If you are involved in an happenstance while transporting the the good or people, afterwards yes.

Most personal auto policies have this type of exclusion, generally adage the policy does not cover the auto while it is transporting people or goods for money.

In charge to be covered while doing so, you would need a business policy which allows this.

Unless you have a policy specifically to allow you to carry paying passenger or goods, then yes!
Unless you have business useage on your insurance yes it will invalidate your insurance. I believe you will be okay if you are only reimbursed for the fuel you enjoy used though.
read your policy. did you start being "for hire" or "commercial" after you bought the policy?
Depends on the type of policy you enjoy, but geneerally yes. Check the fine print on your policy.
Check your policy schedule - you'll see that your policy specifically excludes 'Use for hire or reward'. This is extremely explicit, and invalidates your insurance even for trivialities such as accepting a couple of quid for fuel for giving someone a lift home from work. Be VERY careful accepting money except for from immensely close family or very apt friends.
If you're involved in an accident surrounded by which a paying passenger makes a personal injury claim, your insurance will disown you.
A lot of companies, not all, will exclude this unless it's for motor pooling.
