I'm 19, beside 6 points. Can I draw from on my dads motor trade insurance policy?
Hi. I want to go on a traders policy. My dads in the motor trade and we're thinking of inquiring for a trade policy. I have 6 points, 3 for speeding, 3 for contraveining no entry. Will I find a policy thats cheap enough? I'm 20 within March. I know a few people with a traders policy around my age... Thanks surrounded by advance

For the uninformed it is 12 points then automatic disqualification.
First thing to do would be to ask and grasp a quote giving all the information as this is only passageway to get a fair quote.
Next is to sort out if they would whip your fathers NCB into account as they will to be sure not take yours, they may even stipulate they will not cover anyone with 6 or more points.
You may find that you would not gather together any more NCB as it would not be your policy and in fact may find contained by 2 years time that you lose your current NCB.
Sorry only one way to find out.

I assume you need to take a few driver safekeeping courses to lower your points and get more "good" points.
