Can a non policy holder correction motor insurance deatails?

my wife added a third driver to my policy without permision, can she do this
You are aphorism that your wife added someone as the third driver on the policy - now if your wife is the named second driver on the policy as per the expressions of insurance - she is a policy holder or a "named insured" and so she has the right to join another person to the policy. Secondly the other named driver can be added to the policy with the sole purpose if the person is staying with you and if this is the defence you will also have to add the character in your policy if the person holds a driving license. If you do not do that it would be considered a misrepresentation on your subdivision and your policy can be canceled or void and even a claim can be denied. Source(s): Underwriter over 25 years
Hi Simon,
In normal covering, only the insured of a policy can initiate a change to insurance policy details.
You mentioned that your wife have added a third driver to your policy. It is obvious that she could do that otherwise, the third driver would not be added, right?

The only rationale this can be done because your wife ahs an "insurable interest" in your policy such as she is a join owner of the vehicle etc.

You can check near the policy issuance company for an explaination.
"> No, only the policy holder can do this, But beware, she is your wife! If you make happen a ruckus you may find yourself doing your own washing and cooking
Data protection should exclude anyone other than the policy holder, unless you have at sometime given your authorization for them to deal with her.
Simon,

That depends upon your company's policy provisions and their definition of "insured". Usually, the named insured carries adjectives rights to changes, but spouses can be considered as insured's under some policy definition. You'll need to verify with your delivery service. My assumption is that if they allowed this, it's ok. If you didn't want this change, you'll need to contact them and ask that the driver be removed.
