I lost my chore and no insurance but file for liquidation, can I include a unknown chief medical bill?
My wife went to emergency last dark with a kidney stone. It is a large one and they may obligation to operate. We are (were) actually going to the attorney's office tomorrow to retribution and start the bankruptcy filing.
Can this be included outright or will it be up for review? We really have no other option!

Yes, I started my BK over six months ago after my house foreclosed. You can include it because it takes so long to file. But Goodluck getting a hospital to do the procedure next to no insurance. Hope she gets the medical she deserves.
yes u can include ur medical bills any that are over-due and existing bills, utility bills,etc surrounded by a bankruptcy as long as they are within yesteryear few years if i am not mistaken however u will need to bring the bill with u at the time of the profile otherwise u can ammend it later but not without a cost. they will charge u a payment for adding it in subsequent i am not sure but i think it goes by how much the bill is for but could be simply 100- 400 but dont quote me on that amount.i think it also depends on the lawyer . i file a couple years ago. hope this helps
All debts that exist PRIOR to the time of filing MUST be included. A creditor may purpose to discharge, but if it's a necessity and they can't prove you never intended to pay, it should get discharged. You should discuss this near your attorney. I've never heard of a medical provider objecting to discharge.
You can submit EXISTING medical bills to your bankruptcy...can you hold off on file until after the procedure so that you can include that bill? You should get a bill within a month of the procedure. Can the ruin wait that long? Source(s): been through liquidation myself
You can include it, but I would think your attorney is going to want to linger at least a month or two before file. You want to make sure that all the medical bills own rolled in and are included before file. If not, you will be stuck with that debt.
