Is it impossible to catch energy insurance near medical marijuana?
Has anyone ever heard about this? Anyone beside a card know this answer? And also what other disadvantages do u get when you get a card?
Answers:
i doubt that the life insurance company would ask that press. just lie going on for it, a doctor cant disclose info about you anyway.
It's not a card, it's a doctor's recommendation on letterhead. No, there's no track an insurance company is going to cover it, it's not like they sell it surrounded by a pharmacy. Why would you get a disadvantage with a card? I don't grasp your question.
Life insurance will imagined not ask about marijuana use, health insurance will. it is disheartening really, but here's some of the horrid prejudicial facts.
1. Last month, a man died because he was a medical marijuana patient, doctor recommended and also needed a liver transplant. The organ donor program refuse him a liver because of his doctor recommended use even though they had a liver with 6 of 7 MHC alleles matched! Thats harder to catch than a winning lotto ticket.
2. I am an advisor to several Colorado based dispensaries. I know of 2 patients whose Kaiser Permanente doctors wrote them recommendation and the insurance paid for the visit, but manifestly not the medicine!
3. I also know a purple heart awarded veteran of the gulf war, also a licensed long-suffering. He told the VA he is a licensed MMJ patient. 3 months later, while on leave he needed to see a doc at the local VA in Ohio, quite distant from Colorado. They in half a shake refused him treatment until he completes a 6 week inpatient drug abuse treatment program! Now this purple heart veteran will never move about back to the VA!
Now here's the big answer!! If your life insurance company requirements to give you a blood or urine test for the policy, here's what I suggest. Have your doctor also write you a prescription for Marinol, FDA apporved synthetic THC contained by pill form. Marinol THC and marijuana THC are not very different in structure; the tryout to differentiate between plant derived THC and marinol derived THC is about 30x more expensive than the quick $10 audition for THC at all. If you have a prescription for Marinol, since it is FDA approved, nobody can hold that against you. Source(s): Ironic how the goverment say marijuana is addictive, deadly, causes schizophernia, low sperm count, etc, and can adjectives be attributed to THC. So they legalize a pill with concentrated THC and classify it as Schedule III, goal it is minimally addicitve, low chances of side effects, etc?
This is like proverb grain alcohol is safer than beer! I love political logic!
