Dermatology & Medical Insurance?
Ok, well ... a little trial to insurance and dermatology.
(Please don't flame me for any naive questions or thinking).
Just hold a mole (bigger than normal), a little self-conscious about it, and I want to win rid of it.
My insurance is from Kaiser, so would that mean that I can't go to any dermatology organization to have this thing removed? I can single go to a Kaiser hospital?
I believe this procedure is cosmetics and the insurance will probably not cover it (correct me if I'm wrong), but I spoke to a dermatologists (friend of mine), and he said ... well ... um ... he could attain this procedure classified as another procedure so that the insurance will cover.
Thoughts please ...

Your insurance will most likely cover this if you or someone in your ancestral has had history of CANCER. some moles can front to cancer cells. So, If I was you, I would try your Kaiser(HMO), first. You will probably hold to see your General practicioner first and he will send you to a Kaiser dermotologist. If they refuse to do it, afterwards you can just go see a dermotologist on your own and salary cash to have it removed as cosmetic procedure. Its a pretty trouble-free procedure, in office usually transport a few minutes to remove.
