Why does medical insurance cover psychiatry attention to detail but not psychotherapy?
Unless you go to a psychiatrist who puts you on meds, the regular psychologists are not covered by medical care. Is that the skin with all insurance providers? I can't find one that covers psycotherapy by a PHd and not an MD psychiatric therapist.

health-quotes.isgreat.org - here is my form insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.
The short of it is that a shrink isnt a medical professional. They are somone that you pay huge amount of money to for them to listen and go uh huh.
Yes they might abet, but so would your family, or friends.
Most therapists are working below a license/ certificate.
I mean you could travel to a psychologist and probably get covered. The difference is there is more of a level and education there. But they still arent a Dr.
As far as I know they're all like that. I hold no idea why its like that...
It doesn't surprise me though, they don't cover my antidepressants any, about 150 a month. I don't even know why I have vigour insurance, waste of money.
And to first post, talking to friends and familial isn't the same as talking to an object person trained to help you resolve your problems, the problem beside psychiatrists is that they are often too quick to prescribe tablets when in a lot of cases the problem could hold been resolved by therapy.
