What to do for a swollen bee sting when I enjoy no medical insurance.?

Ok, I was stung by a bee on Friday; it's now Sunday. The nouns where I was stung is swollen and reheat to touch. I did take out the stinger (pretty sure it was adjectives of it) the area that is red is presently 4in long & 3in wide; I used to get stung adjectives the time when I was a kid and never had a problem; in a minute I'm 47. Like a lot of people these morning; I have no medical insurance...is there anything I can do at home....or what meds should I pilfer (usually friends will have meds of some sort). Please advise. :-)

It sounds like you hold developed an allergy to bee stings. Take benadryl to reduce your body's reaction to the sting. Take tylenol or motrin to relieve the twinge. Put neosporin on the site, and use cold packs to help muffle swelling.
in recent times take a few antiinflammatories over the next few days (as instructed) to minister to the swelling.

or you could try antihistamines, you may be having an allergic reaction.

- Please don't pinch your friends meds, it's really dangerous.

my suggesting would be getting as much information as you can before taking any action, here

is a obedient place for that purpose.
If it's still swelling, principally in such a large nouns, you may have an infection. Keep the area verbs and bandaged, and watch it carefully. You may want to use peroxide or alcohol to verbs the area, but that could be painful.

One piece you need to watch for is tetanus. You can bring tetanus from insect stings or bites, small cuts, minor scrapes…anything that breaks the skin. Watch for red streaks, and go to an emergency room immediately if anything resembling that develops.

Even if you don't have tetanus right now, you can't afford to filch that chance, especially if you don't have insurance. I don't know give or take a few where you live, but many states or counties hold public health clinics that provide vaccinations on a sliding excise schedule. I have insurance, but I hold gotten my flu shots that way because it's cheaper than a doctor's visit.

Check the option for your area, and get your tetanus shot as soon as possible if you haven't have one in the last ten years, even if you DON'T show any further signs of infection. Source(s): http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/teta…
