Does anyone know if insurance company will rate for an "elected" csection vs a medical or emergency nessecity?
Hi, i carry the HSV and right now according to my doctor and the American gynecology and obstetics association, the kid can only contract herpes virus if there are moving lesions or prodomes at the time of labour. However, if a woman contracts the disease for the first time while pregnant, she get a c-section. Ive had hsv for 5 years. Im also taking suppressive meds but i have have two -three prodomes in the last two weeks due to severe stress even next to the meds. They went away in a time and i had no breakouts. I saw my doctor today and begged her to bequeath me a c-section b/c im so afraid to pass the virus to the baby even though adjectives the studies show that only 1% of babies will catch it if a woman have had the virus alread before getting pregnant and have no active lesions at employment. I want to know is an "elective" csection covered with HAP or only if you shift into labour and you need an emergency csection? Has anyone gone through this formerly? Im stil considering vaginal too.

on the back of your insurance card should be a customer service number...call and ask them...everybodys insurance can be a bit different

I was in your situation too, but 11 years ago contracted to trust the doctor and go with what he recommended. He told me that the 1% you mention are cases where on earth people contract the virus in the finishing month, or just before abdication.
I was, however, relieved when I didn't dialate fully and needed an emergency c-section. (Get a good surgeon and you'll pace out the hospital like I did, and fully recover in a week or two!)
My 6 year old son was also c-section because I go to a perinatologist who scheduled it for me because that is what I looked-for. (I lost three pregnancies to miscarriage between my two kids.) I also developed gestational diabetes which improved our case.
Maybe you can telephone call your insurance company, the number is on the back of your card, and ask them if you need a referral for a perinatologist to be covered. Then progress from there. I went to the Mayo Clinic contained by Rochester Minnesota, and my doctor was wonderful!
Make your phone calls, and stop stressing yourself out! There is so much fluid endorsement during the birthing process that infection is highly unlikely, especially if the lesion is not near the debut.
You are not alone, I also had lots of breakouts during my pregnancies, even when I had be symptom free for a year! When you are done having babies, if your breakouts still flare up with monthly cycles, you should look into have a uterine ablation! I had one and have no more cycles, and interference beside breakouts.
