Medical insurance during divorce?
We just filed for divorce contained by the state of California, we've been married for 12 years and his medical insurance renews in July. Can he embezzle me off now or does he hold to wait till the divorce is final?

lawyers answer these types of questions. but for me one-sidedly, i told my ex i want coverage for 3 years otherwise i nark on you for your the one time in your life you smoked a cohesive. it worked.
Im sure If he required to he could just take you rotten....Like here (a) my company I am able to remove dependents or my spouse at anytime because Im the one paying for it...but the problem is that if you made it a big deal which I would, it would run so much bs and time to put you back on july will already be here. So if he wanted to be vindictive consequently yes he could remove you from his insurance. Legally a spouse doesnt have to pay for your medical Insurance even DURING wedding.
ADD: I just got this from a site;
Following a divorce, the spouse near the employer-provided health insurance plan can no longer provide coverage for the ex-spouse. A divorce will cause the dependent spouse to lose his or her healthcare coverage. Though this is a discordant reality, it is one of the many unlucky repercussions of divorce.

he should still carry you until its final -
in fact - one of the points you should negotiate for is that he carry you for some number of years under COBRA -
3 or 4 years is not unusual
I agree with the others but would add that if you own children, coverage may be ordered by the court for them - but still not you.
