As students, do my fiancee and I lose our medical insurance once we are married?
My fiancee and I are both full time students in college and we got affianced last week. I am graduating surrounded by Spring of 09 and then going on to grad school for 2 yrs and he will be graduate in Spring of 2010. I am 21 and he is 20. We are both covered under our parents robustness insurance since we are considered "dependents." If we decide to get married while still surrounded by school, do we lose this health insurance beneath our parents? I would love to get married next summer but some own said we should wait till he graduates and get a job and get married within summer of 2010. I am just confused about the status of our insurance if we want to get married next summer. We live contained by New Jersey, if that makes a difference.
