I am really panicky of have a c-section bc within a month I wont hold medical insurance?

I am getting cut off the day after my 25th b-day. anyways this is my 1st and I'm due surrounded by 10 days. my next checkup is the 26th and she will check ym cervix. last time it be hard and clsoed. I have have no contractions at all really maybe a short time ago a few random bh contractions but thats it. I have have an uncomplicated preganncy but I am really worried I'll be overdue. and that when I'm overdue I wont be dilated or effaced at all close to now at almost 39 weeks. I am afraid that theyll induce me bc Ill be post-term but still not dilated and that the induction bc I didnt dilate naturally or efface will of late lead to an emergency c-section like my sister contained by law had. I know worrying reckless but it's just I never really thought about the possibility of have to have a c-section just bc within have been no problems. my insurance expires aug 1 and my due date is July 2, if I be going vaginally i wouldnt b worried but c-section requires all these afterwards check-ups.
Answers:
C-section doesn't require any more check-ups than a V birth. You go contained by once 6 weeks after the baby. Like anyone else. Just keep your incision verbs and you'll be O.K. Source(s): I have had two C-sections.
sign up for medicaid for pregnant women. It covers your pregnancy, delivery and 6 weeks postpartum.
hi near i would nt worry about it to much after adjectives if you have to have a c portion then thats it it better to have both mum and tot safe after all i hold had 2 and ill be have a third in november and there not to doomed to failure you will be sore and find it hard to move but if you start moving as soon as you can you will heal alot faster and really near a c section you dont need tons chech ups no more then a normal birth
if your almost due, here are some article you can do to try and speed things up at home:

This has worked for me 3 times.
1.Get some Evening Primrose oil (you can grasp at walmart or health food store) and take it both out loud and vaginally. You have to prick the casing for the grease to spread easier.
2. Get some GOOD sex. The feel good stuff of an oragasm releases stuff contained by the brain to help labor start. The orgasam with assistance start contractions, you should feel that almost right away (at least some braxton hicks). Also, sperm help soften the cervix.
3.While your getting that good sex, play near your nipples. It releases a natural pitocin that starts labor.

I can't think of anything to relieve with the insurance stuff. But, if you do get a c slice, DO NOT skip that appt. it will be relativly cheap compared to didn't go and now something is wrong!

Congradulations and GL

PS DON'T DO CASTOR OIL, THE LAST THING YOU NEED IS HERSHEY SQUIRTS
go gain on medicaid and they should cover you until all your dr visits for the tot are done and your baby for a certain amount of years.
pious luck
A vaginal conferral requires additional checkups as well--at 6 weeks postpartum you'll have to be in motion in, and your baby will involve a checkup a couple of days after leaving the hospital, at two weeks, and then at two months.

Try not to verbs yourself too much about the c-section. Your sister's experience won't necessarily be yours, and there isn't much you can do if that ends up person the situation.

Have you talked to your doctor about Evening Primrose Oil? It can be used to give support to "ripen" the cervix--I used two daily vaginally from 37 weeks on. I don't know if it helped, but it's in the region of the only thing I know of that might assistance you efface a little bit.

And try not to get too hung up on the withdrawal of progress--it's completely possible to have no progress and then step into labor that day anyway. Good luck--I hope you get better communication at your next appointment. :)
