Medical insurance premiums taken out pre-tax--are they charge deductible?

this may be a stupid question... i dunno

if i had insurance premiums taken out of my paychecks previously the taxes were taken out, are they tax deductible?
i'm kinda thinking not, but i'm not sure...
"> You enjoy the right idea. If the medical insurance premiums are paid pre-tax you are not competent to deduct them on your income tax return. You are irrelevant to deduct an amount that you have never rewarded tax on.

Great question.
