Getting salaried for providing medical and child concern for insurance claim?

my son and his gf were in a severe sports car accident and she received injuries requiring surgery and is now no counterweight bearing for 8-12 weeks because my son works 12-16 hours a day i hold stepped up and taken charge to provide her home health care and childcare since she is unqualified to care for 7 month old son. ( this allows her to still be round the child instead of him anyone at a babysitter away from mom) her parents havent done anything to help and the other drivers insurance has gotten snotty beside me regarding the claim. do i submit a bill to our attorney or directly to the other drivers insurance or will i have to sue my sons gf for sum?

That's why we rate car insurance. Let the car insurance investigate or permit the attorney handle the case. Besides you volunteered to minister to. I hope you did it with the good intentions of a grandmother and not the money. I would not interfere between your son and his girlfriend. Your playing beside fire.
Your wanting to sue your sons girlfriend for helping her out in a crisis? Wow what a great mother you are. Not to mention greedy. Why not basically consider what you are doing as a good thing. No one is going to recompense you for helping out. Not the gf, not your son, and DEFINETLY not the insurance company.

If you don't want to help for free you shouldn't have volunteered Source(s): Claims 6 yrs
I assume that the other party involved was at quirk for the accident. What have they told you? How hold they become "snotty"? You cannot get direct payment for the insurance company. You are not a event to the claim. You can have your son's girlfriend submit your request for reimbursement, and they MAY reimburse you/her for your services. However, it is doubtful since you probably do not have any accreditation for any of the services you are providing. If they accept this request, it will be included in the final settlement. If you live surrounded by a state that has PIP coverage, some PIP covers Replacement services.

No, you do not sue your son's girlfriend for your services, especially if she did not ask you to provide these services.

If your son's girlfriend has an attorney, maybe she should discuss this with them. Source(s): Claims - 21 years.
If you have not been trained or attributed in the duties you speak of, you may have trouble collecting monies, especially I would regard as if you are related. If the gf gets a settlement, hopefully she will salary you.
