Your baby is covered under your insurance plan for 30 days. After that time, you will call for to get insurance for your baby. You should inform your husband's work that you will be count the baby...you don't want to leave it until the ultimate minute. We ended up having a 3 week cleft in my son's insurance policy and I was a strung-up mess the whole time hoping he didn't get sick lol
The infant should be covered under your insurance, the insurance that names you as the insured, for 30 days. Then you enjoy to get the baby their own insurance, lower than whatever plan you have or you can try and go and get an independent carrier. You don't have to convey your husbands employer now, I'm sure they know, you just hold to go sign up your baby inside that first 30 days (but if you have to pay to incorporate him then wait until closer to the appendage of the 30 days to help save money- hey, every little bit help!).
That depends on the insurance company. Do they know you are expecting? My insurance covered my daughter straight away after birth and then I had 30 days to cram out the proper paperwork to make it official.
Do I enjoy to get her/him insurance right after birth? You need to contact your insurance company in 30 days of the child birth

Do i inform my husbands employer now? You should put a call into his HR department towards the ending of your pregnancy. They will be able to give you information, and perchance even send you the paperwork you need to stuff out ahead of time
This depends completely on your insurance company.

We have Tricare, and they cover the baby for the first 60 days, and afterwards you have to go within and register the baby to have coverage on the kid.

My advice would be to call your insurance company and ask them.
If it's family insurance it'll cover him as long as you're covered and he's lower than 18.
Otherwise... he is no longer a part of your body, and your insurance covers you. I'd call the number on your card.
Such a GREAT question. I had duplicate concern. I kept thinking baby would come out, not be insured and I would owe 30K in NICU bills. Im glad to know that the toddler is covered at least for the hospital. After I get out I will freshly add him or her to my insurance.
If you informed your insurance that you are pregnant the babe has insurance for after birth and will have insurance until he or she is 18 unless you two lose your insurance....
