Does your coup¨¦ enjoy to stay where on earth the human being who pays for the insurance lives?

My mother and father are divorced and I live with my mom. My dad said that for my birthday he would get me a sports car, but it would have to stay at his house because he is paying for insurance which would mean that I would own to live with him instead. Is this true?
Answers:
It has to be on her insurance if it is to stay there beside you. He can pay for it, but it does need to be on hers.

My ex compensated for my daughters insurance and she and the car live here with me. It is also cheaper within my county than in his.
Your father can pay your insurance for everywhere the car is garaged. I paid my son's coup¨¦ insurance, but provided the insurance carrier with the address at his university. It did hold an effect on my premium. Thus, in terms of the cost of the insurance, I suppose it is not a question of you living with him, as much as it is the saloon living with him.

There may also be some family dynamics going on here that I don't desire to address.
If he is going for a multicar discount on his insurance policy, the address would need to be his. I own a feeling this goes deeper . . . resembling a bribe to get you to live with him. He know your mother is in no position to offer you such a bequest, so his gift comes with his rules. He may also NOT want your mom to ever know how to 'borrow' your car.
