Does the State of Iowa cover the cost of creamation for a parent that have no money or vivacity insurance?
My mom recently passed away & her husband & we children don't have the system to pay for her cremation, which was a straightforward & direct creamation; we held our own service & can pay for her urn, but the $2400.00 outstanding bill at the funeral home is worrying us, since she had no enthusiasm insurance or assets.
