Question something like enthusiasm insurance?
My father passed away 7 years ago and it was ruled accidental (even though it be suicide) My step mother said there was no time insurance, but she has been spending money close to crazy since. Buying new houses, cars etc......How would I go give or take a few investigating and seeing if there was any insurance? If I involve to consult a lawyer, what kind of attorney?
There might not have be insurance, but what about other asses ts, was at hand a will?
To find out about real estate etc. - check beside your local clerk of court.
Also without a will- most state laws will give up parents assets to the kids - that includes half of money in the ridge etc. although there may be some separate provisions for retirement etc.
If you feel as though you get ripped off - it is an estate lawyer you necessitate to see.

"> Unless you were the named beneficiary, you're not qualified to it in any case. If you be, the insurance company would only pay directly to you. If she be the beneficiary, there's nothing you can do about it.
You can't. It's private information.
It's none of your business, and you can't do anything about it, anyway.
Unfortunately, both answers are correct: meaning, unless you were the beneficiary or have some legal "ownership" to your father's life insurance policy, explicitly private information which the insurance cannot release to you.

If you were a beneficiary on the policy you would enjoy been notified by the insurance company when she file the claim. If you are worried that the insurance company couldn't find you, then you can always check next to the state they lived in to see if there are any unclaimed natural life insurance proceeds in your name.
At the awfully least she does not have your portion of the benefit.
If your father made her as the sole beneficiary consequently there is nothing you can do nearly it. Source(s): My blog: http://gardenstatelifeinsurance.blogspot…
