Soldier's Group Life Insurance (SGLI) will cover you for up to I believe $450,000 at only going on for $27 per month. DELTA Dental program covers your entire family for only almost $20 per month.
It's DAMNED good coverage. Source(s): I'm a Coast Guard Senior Chief Petty Officer.
home as in spouse and children.. yes.. but you have to salary for dental.. under $30/month for a spouse and all minor children.
nearby is SGLI, which is automatically given to you, you must opt out of it and you can opt for a higher amount. It's very cheap for the fundamental $400K insurance. there is also Family SGLI which is also quite inexpensive for what you get hold of and every dependent can have their own policy as well.. keeping contained by mind that coverage ends when you get out so make sure you also enjoy a regular Life insurance policy for everybody too.
as for helping you at BMT: helping you do what?!
SGLI is the life insurance for AD member, it is $27 per month for $450,000. FSGLI is for the spouse, it is up to $10 per month and is $100,000. All children get free coverage of $10,000.
Dental Insurance - Tricare Dental/United Concordia is $30 per month for family or $13 per month for individual. It covers 2 free cleanings and 1 xray per year, the rest is a percentage depending on what it is. It covers up to $1200 per human being per year. The first month you have to pay afterwards it will be set up as an automatic deduction. The spouse can sign up for it as soon as her information is entered into DEERS. They do not see stand dental but civilians out in town.
Tricare Standard is medical and starts the date you start and all dependents are enter into DEERS. With Standard there is a yearly deductible and co-pay for respectively visit. If the spouse wishes to change to Tricare Prime or Tricare Prime Remote she must hold her ID card and then it can be changed. You can get supplemental insurance too.
Yes you can get perfect life insurance.
