ok i just watched the movie "Sicko" and i can for the life span of me figure out how our health insurance companies carry away with the stuff they do! can some one explain this.

Because you watched a movie. If you watch a movie about millions of claims that go through in need a hitch nobody would watch it and the film initiator wouldn't make money.
You must realize that Insurance Companies are surrounded by business for a profit, in most cases. The cost of health perfectionism has gone up so much that America does have a vigour care crisis in full bloom.
What's the solution? Congress have been debating that for some time now. But do we really want the Government managing our form care system? I vote no to that one!

The idea of involving the forgiving and Doctor in making the important decision of health care, instead of relying on the ruling an Insurance Company Executive Miami Florida. There are a handful of companies providing Consumer Driven Health Care plans.

Health insurance is heavily regulated. People who get cracked at denials, are getting mad because either 1. they tried to "outsmart" the insurance company, and it backfire (ie, they're dishonest) or 2. They don't understand what they are buying.
Insurance is a CONTRACT. It's controlled by CONTRACT LAW.
Michael Moore is a liberal, who wants to bring Socialism to the USA.
Look at organization run healthcare in ANY COUNTRY you want, that has it. Look at how powerfully it's run, and how long the lines are. SHeesh. If you like government housing, you'll LOVE establishment healthcare. And I sure hope you like the wait times when you ring the DMV, and just imagine the hold time when you try calling the doc! Have you tried calling the IRS or Medicare bureau lately??
One more thing to think in the region of - according to Sicko, the average Cuban spends about $250 a year for all medical treatment, including medication. But Sicko doesn't mention, that in some pharmacies, you can't even get aspirin. Or, that the average annual remuneration of a Cuban, is $1,000 (making healthcare 25% of their income). Or, that contrary to popular belief, Floridians are NOT jumping on rafts and trying to get to Cuba.
I just see the movie today, too.
They pay off the politicians and other authorities contained by charge.
There are too many corrupt people surrounded by charge only to benefit themselves with money and don't prudence about others.
