I hit the vehicle, I dont own liability insurance?
I hit this car and I don't have liability insurance. the cops be called and a complaint was lodged. however they did not issue me a ticket. I talk to the other party the next hours of daylight as i traced them and talked to them. i am ready to foot for his car damage. I want to know will be better rotten that his car insurance company gets it repaired and will they distribute me the letter of demand. or shall i progress with him to the body shop and get it repaired and bring back it done.
any help and advice is appreciable. the state is Connecticut.
