I personally own never heard of this before but you should press why you are being told this now and not when you signed your contract
Some of my couples have used wedsafe.com but I hold never heard of a hall making the couple own insurance, only the vendors. Are you sure they don't connote your vendors?
First of adjectives, this should have been within your contract. If it's not, then it's not your fault and you don't involve to do anything but point this out to them.

Usually liability insurance is what your caterer needs to work at your venue. Ask your caterer about this, they call for it to be able to work anywhere, and it should be in your contract next to your caterer. If you are serving your own alcohol, then you would need to provide insurance, and it's usually beneath $200 for this coverage. Your venue should provide you with this information, and like I said, trade name sure you go look over your contract to see if this is in nearby.

Wedsure is insurance that protects you if something were to happen, approaching your wedding dress doesn't get deliver or your musicians don't show up. This is NEVER required since it's insurance that protects you, not the venue.
the place me and my fiance rented for our wedding ceremony next years had us confer them a fee of around 50 bucks for 150 people. we hold to pay it 30 days before our marriage too. the way my future mil put it, its to help out the place pay for there insurance. since the gardens we are getting married at is busy adjectives the time for weddings, it pretty much pays for there monthly insurance bill. i hope i didnt confuse you! congrats!!
I've hear of this. Many times, they will let you get away next to simply hiring a caterer that carries it, so make sure you ask give or take a few that possibility. Its a temporary type insurance policy that normally you income a flat fee for and it only last until like the day after the event. If you own a home, you can make a payment it on to your homeowners insurance depending on who you have insurance with. Sometimes, if you rent, you can also catch it through your renters insurance. I would reccomend checking with whatever insurance companies you already use first, as they may be capable of offer you a special rate for being a customer already. Check the contract you signed beside your venue and make sure this is in writing surrounded by the contract that you have to carry it. Not deeply cool that you didn't know until a month before. Other than that, I also found these websites: Careful though. Most of them offer not individual liability insurance but cancelation coverage as well, so make sure you know what you're buying. Read respectively policy carefully to make sure it meet your needs. Source(s): http://www.protectmywedding.com/

I do know of 1 place around here the does that. It is an old historical lovely place, and they want to ensure it is in the sam e condition after the event as it be beforehand.
