How long does an Insurance company have to adopt liability of a sports car twist of fate?
I was in a vehicle accident almost a month ago and they do not want to give me a rental saloon because they haven't accepted liability. The other driver was given a ticket because she run a stop sign. The insurance company keeps saying that they're investigating. It is awfully frustrating because I go to work and school and I enjoy to keep getting rides to get from place to place.
Answers:
They can legitimately deny liability until they get the police report. Once they get the police report that shows their insured at blame, they have to accept the liability. Here is some info for you....they enjoy to pay you from the day of the catastrophe for a rental even though you haven't had one, so therefore you obligation to let them know when they open the liability that they owe you put a bet on pay for the days you were minus a car. I can't tell from your grill if you mean your insurance or the other driver's insurance...because if it was the other driver's error, her insurance should provide the rental car, not yours. It sounds like it might be time to call upon a lawyer. (Somebody hit my dad's truck a few months ago, and he was driving a brand hot rented Charger within 12 hours, provided by the other guy's insurance.)
