Travel Insurance to the USA from the UK?
Can anyone recommend a firm that offers travel insurance. Searched on Money Supermarket.com and got different prices. Has anyone any experience of any firms, cheap is not necessarily good but I don't want to pay over the probability. Any advice gratefully received.

Check next to the company that insures your house and contents, if you take out travel insurance with them you will commonly get a loyalty discount + a good policy.

I would recommend NOT buying through your travel agent - they almost always overcharge for substandard product.
Money Supermarket is probably as a good a place as any to use for price comparison - remember they with the sole purpose show products that they get comission on though - it's not always the best promise.

I would personally recommend Insure and Go - I hold used them for years now, have submitted one claim which be processed very quickly (and next to a positive outcome for me which was the most important).
Have a look at this cashback site: http://www.quanti.co.uk/insurance/travel… - it gives you a account of other travel insurance companies and you can save money when you buy the insurance. All you need to do is to register on the website for free and click to the insurer's website through them.
They make available 16.5% cashback on Insure and Go so worth considering!
ask your travel agent... they should hold offered it to you when you booked.
