Does anyone know a UK pet insurance firm that covers pets straight away?

They will not insure straight away, usually 14 days waiting extent
All insurance companies have a 14 day exclusion.
I hold horses dogs and cats insured with 6 of the Major insurance companies in the uk and they adjectives state 14 days before you can make a claim
All good pet insurers should offer a cover for time policy and cover you for accidents from the moment you sign the policy and/ or exit the vets have signed on the dotted line. Pet Plan do special instant accident veterinary cover forms (IVC's) on the starting place of an appropriately trained person health checking your pet whilst surrounded by the vets. I have not come across a policy which will insure for virus during the first 14 days.
I've seen Pet Plan pay out on a road traffic chance that happened in the saloon park outside my vets and the owners had purely signed an IVC, so good insurance is well worth it!
