Will I receive some of my premium hindmost if the Insurance Co w/off my coup¨¦? (UK)?
I had an accident a couple of weeks ago. I lost control of my vehicle on a country lane. The amount of defacement to the vehicle is considerably more than it's value so I know that they will write the car rotten. My policy document states that they will cancel my policy if the insured vehicle is written off. Will I take any of my money back? The company involved is Admiral.
Answers:
That's the way it works surrounded by the U.S.. You no longer have a policy, so the unused premium should be returned. If the policy covered multiple vehicles, the policy would hold to be adjusted to remove the demolished vehicle, so your premium should go down - but you might lose a "multi-car discount." Source(s): 24 years of dealing next to insurance companies.
