National Insurance number, UK?
My son sent the form off at least 2 months ago, for his National Insurance number. He is coming to the appendage of his exams and is filling forms in for opportunity applications.
He is still waiting for his nat Ins card, and has phoned them to ask where it is. Oh it be processed on 19th May and is sitting waiting to go out. What's the f***ing point.
He has the honesty to get off his backside to hunt for job, and his card is stuck in some office somewhere waiting to be posted. God almighty it make me sick.
Do they want them to find jobs, or sit on their backside all hours of daylight.................Like some stupid office worker, who can't post out a Nat Ins Card.??

okay it may be frustraiting, but there is no have need of for the hostility and bad speech. I think i had to continue a period of time similar to that. Ring and ask again, there could be some simple TRUE reason. Control your anger and stop over dramatising the situation. Im an "office worker" and you hold been very licentious. Your behaviour makes me sick.
How old is your son and is he a British/European national? I thought it be commonplace for each individual to receive their National Insurance card prior to leaving soaring school if they turned 16 in the first slice of their final academic year (i.e. September 1st to December 31st). In this respect, the card should arrive during the autumn term. Everyone else usually receive theirs as or just after the final high conservatory year ends. The age is very important and he won't receive it if he is still considered too youthful.
I hope this helps and, if he is eligible, his card arrives soon. In the meantime he can simply put that he has applied for his number on his applications. It should not disadvantage him, particuarly as he have never worked before.

This happen with alot of foreign workers I've rang up and harried them for it.In the meantime they can use their birthday as a temporary one until it's sorted so they can start work straight away.
Calm down dear, its only an organization worker...but I do see your point, you could get a fraudulent one quicker.

If they just communicate him the number, that should be good enough for most things
He does not need the number to commence work. An employer can issue him with a temporary one, which he can use until he get his proper one issued. That's quite normal, surrounded by fact. So it's not like he's not going to go and get a job just because of this.
What I don't get the drift is, if the card is sitting there waiting to be posted out, why can they not just relay you what the number is over the phone? Because you only really need the number, you don't involve an actual card anyway. Have you asked for it?
