what do you think of its various diplomas? are they outstandingly valued in your field? and can they mortgage your careers in insurance!

In my enclosed space ..(property Casualty ins ) we have a national designation called CPCU or Chartered Property casualty underwriter. A insurance professional would nick 10 national exams. (usually take up to 5 years if you pass them all)
These exams encompass a multi faceted sovereignty of insurance
criteria such as Accounting and Insurance Law/Ethics/ economics and Insurance practices/
This designation is the ultimate boiler plate for a Insurance professional. (CIC) is also a respected des. (Certified insurance counselor)
YES... this designation is highly valued within our field as a CPA is in Accounting. It shows understanding is power and initiative pays dividends! They can advance your career and relieve get a good undertaking! Please be advised that I have know lots smart CPCU's that can't sell...... they are technically proficient but are not sales general public. The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA has courses to receive the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant). I believe this may be what you are thinking of. The ChFC is more recognizeable today because so abundant people want to be financial planners.
