Uk travel insurance?

im going to the lake district in pageant and am taking my new nikon d200, gps and all my lenses- so im going to involve some form of travel insurance for around a week- is there such a thing as a cheap one for students or purely a cheap one in general? do they even enjoy UK travel insurance??
anyway some websites, names and prices would be fantastic!

check your student bank account they sometimes come beside travel insurance which might cover u for belongings in uk
check your home contents policy they may be covered by that
Check out moneysupermarket.com or the post organization as you will find good deals for students on those sites, check your parents contents insurance first though as they may be covered for the things you've mentioned and except it might work out cheaper for them to put them on their insurance other than you go out and buy some, enjoy a great trip.
if you are not insured for contents at home.....go to Tesco as they are the best and cheapest for any Travel Insurance....and I hold tried them all. That usually covers for any losses you may incur....but lets hope you dont enjoy to use it. By the way have a lovely time as it is a super place to call round and to take photos
