How much longer must the rest of the UK salary for England's flood disasters? Higher taxes, highly developed insurance etc
All because the English decide they want to build houses on flood plains.
Answers:
I'm a US citizen and I completely agree beside you. If a person builds his house in areas where on earth it floods often, why is it your responsibility to make up for their impossible decision?
The reason is because I see surrounded by your country what is happening in mine, and to be exact rampant liberalism. Rather than saying truthfully, those people are stupid for living near and we should not live in such a dangerous place, those general public are instead victimized and made into pity cases who, by law, must be helped out. Too much dependence on senate is something I speak of often, and it pains me to see it in your and my modern cultures.
It must be hidden that people WILL help respectively other, on a community level. It is in their best interest to do so. But to legislate that a being must provide aid for people who made a terribly unpromising decision is absolute insanity, and I can't believe it go on. I'm going to stop writing before I start getting all riled up.

wouldnt you a bit pay for uk flooded homes, rather than 1 within another country like we normally do
How do you mean Higher taxes...do you really feel they are going to put up income tax....council tax may dance up in the affected areas....If from Scotland, beware, or you do not realise the subsidy the English taxpayer have to pay to Scotland....and if from Wales then you too hold had your share of flooding...and don't get me onto the amount of subsidy that have had to be paid over the years to NI so I would dream up before you post such a question.
However you do own a point about building on flood plains, but it the Scottish, Welsh and Irish and every other nationality stayed at home instead of coming to England for a better time, we would not need to build so many unmarked houses.
As long as we enjoy a vote sucking Scotish Prime Minister, and a Government which fails to carry out any of its promises and continues to underfund everyting specifically important
i think its ridiculous as we hold to pay for everything.the council should pay it as its their loss more than ours as they lose out of money
I hold never understood how they are allowed to build on flood plains. Will the new home information pack state this and will this make the houses unsellable. As I send money to foreign disasters I enjoy no problem supporting our own people.
just assume to yrself being lucky u r not one of those unfortunate souls who hv lost evrything
Some of the homes are not on flood plains. When a river floods, it go for miles, nothing can stop it. Water is the strongest force there is. So homes no where on earth near flood plains are affected.
You don't gain from English remunerated Taxes then?
We will be footing the bills for as long as the councils can keep their eyes closed to the problem.
