Can anyone recommend biddable cycle insurance (theft only) surrounded by UK. Also can anyone recommend a worthy cycle lock?

Answers: Don't worry too much about the lock - merely make sure you secure it to something immovable. Anyone taking a fancy to your bike will cart it, lock and all. They can get the lock bad in their own time, so don't spend a fortune on it.

As for insurance - I believe they are covered under most home contents policies, so check in attendance before you shell out on an unnecessary extra expense.

Happy trails!
check out the LCC web site for insurance premiums and guides as to what type of locks you should use. I use a kryptonite D shackle for the frame and a extention cable to lock my wheels (use the D to immobilize to a solid object). Source(s): www.LCC.org.uk
If you have an expensive bike, lb1500 plus, then most household insurance policies wont cover it.

Try Cycleguard (i own used them for past 2 yrs) for bike specific insurance. They have a approved lock detail on their website.
It is important to get a well brought-up lock (one the insurance company approves for your bike) and lock it to a solid object, otherwise they will refuse to pay packet out if the bike is stolen.
