How do I achieve a UK National Insurance number?

Hi guys,

I just got my spouse visa today surrounded by the mail and I thought that the visa would include a national insurance number. Apparently thats not true! Does anyone know how I would go roughly speaking getting this number? I would assume I need one to start applying for jobs when I am vertebrae in the UK ( which is Thursday). Its not pressing, I do not plan on applying for a month or two but would like to know where on earth to start. Or is it in a visa and I just looked it over?

You stipulation to make an appointment with your local Jobcentre Plus (This can individual be done when you arrive in the UK)

You stipulation to ring them and ask for an appointment to be interviewed for an NI number. They will advise you what forms of identification they entail you to bring.
