UK travel insurance: honest and unpromising experiences...?

Hi. I'm looking for an annual travel insurance policy available in the UK. Previously I've always used insureandgo.com as a supplier of first resort, but I (thankfully) enjoy no experience of whether or not they are fair in paying out on claims, correct to deal with when claiming etc.

Does anyone hold any travel insurance suppliers whom they would recommend or avoid?
