Best UK Dog Insurance?

I'm trying to find the best pet insurance for my miniature poodle pup, I'm getting in 11 days.
I want really good service, preferably speedy claims, good overall 'up-to' prices e.g vet fees.
Annual/monthly costs are unimportant, we'll choose the bets for our pet, not cost-wise.

Any companies you strongly suggest against, please put in the picture me.

The one I am totally recommending at the moment is

Animal Friends. They do a honest range of policies but do make sure you lift out one of the upper ones that covers for life. Never take out one that covers a condition for one year solely.

Avoid --- like the plague ---- E & L. Horror stories abound with them, and frequent vets will not recognise them as they fail to attain their money too often.

I am with Tesco but will be varying to Animal Friends soon.
I've found Pet Plan to be the best - not cheapest. We have had over lb8000 for one of our dogs after a road calamity.

Payments are made quickly with any rearrangement due to the vets not completing and sending off the forms at full tilt enough.
