I involve to affix my fiance to my coup¨¦ insurance, I don't want my rates to triple!?
We are moving in together, but not married yet. Does anybody own an insurance company who considers engaged as married? Does this even exist?
Answers:
talk to your insurance agent. He only requests to be on your policy if he is a regular driver of your vehicle. Having him added should not raise your rates at all, unless he have a very bad driving copy.
Its not a legal binding arrangement in the eyes of the tenet
Seems unfair to me.
We enjoy a personal car, but my husband drives his company car day after day. I'm the only one that drives our personal vehicle, we are still rated as (2) drivers on the personal vehicle. It's a passageway for insurance cos. to make more money. It's ridiculous. Plus we have to pay packet $100/month out of salary to use his company vehicle.
how would it make your rates triple?? Bad record?.. juvenile driver?? hot car?? pricey car??
if he's a righteous driver, clean record, over 25, drives a relatively majority vehicle, and is a member of your household... then it could be a appropriate thing.
1. he has access to your motor, you, likewise
2. you both get a 2 motor discount
Call your agent.... what happens if? check it out
what the heck?
No, because engaged is NOT married. If it make you feel any better, if adding him to your rates make them triple, then being married isn't going to oblige you. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
