Which UK companies can grant better insurance rates for younger drivers?
I'm an 18 year old female, I passed my examination today and I'm looking to find a cheap car insurance company that is worthy for young drivers.
Answers:
Quinn direct without a doubt - they arent the best ie economically known but they will save you a bundle surrounded by your first couple of years also pass plus it takes roughly speaking 6 hours to do but it save you about 100-200 quid. ps a bit tip when your hunting for insurance on a search engine like confused or elephant dont put your solid phone number they really hound you with calls.
virtuous luck
i passed my test within may last year, and had a brand up to date freelander to insure, i went on confused.com and they found me the cheapest, which like tommy suggested be quinn insurance, it saves on your phone bill and keeps your fuzz firmly on your head! good luck and glad motoring.x
I would recommend both tesco and virgin money
I have used both of these insurance companies over times past 4 years since i passed my test at 19. Both have contribute me good rates
congratulations! :-)
i passed my test at 17 and went straight to diamond...they be cheap for me, but it isnt just age that affects how much insurance is going to cost.
you need to consider what coupé you have as well, as this affects the amount you hold to pay being a infantile driver big time. just ring round all the recognised insurers, and return with a quote, make sure you check what excesses will be applied if you have an happenstance, and what cover you have. when you find a quote that suits you best, ring them back and in that you go!
Have a look at:
www.youngmarmalade.co.uk
They insurance with a car, they also do insurance on its own.
http://www.tesco.com
enjoy you actually tried Lloyds? they are the biggest in the UK and 10% cheaper if you buy online. They enjoy an instant form here

chances are that if you ever need to product a claim they'll come through better than marmelade or supermarket insurers.
Admiral specialises contained by insurance for the young. If you've Barried your car, try Adrian Flux.
i tried all the insurance comparison sites on the internet and i found the best one to be www.moneysupermarket.com and like a few of the other those answering quinn direct sorted me out and there was going on for a 400 pound difference between there quote and the second cheapest quote which was direct string!
hope this helps Source(s): new masculine driver
