Why is it that insurance rates are so elevated within the state of New Jersey?
The insurance rates in New Jersey are higher than any rates within the entire United States. I demand an answer to this outrage! It makes no sense that contained by California you can pay like $140 for the unbroken -year- to insure a car, while in NJ you take-home pay like $140 every month.

You are a citizen martyr of the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. NJ is the # 1 most insurance hostile state in the US. All major compaines snub to sell any new policies near because of the state ins. board and the governors office combative posture towards insurance providers. The situation is even worse with medical insurance. Until you voters wise-up and vote the damn socialists out of organization you are going to live with high taxes, glorious fuel costs, high medical costs and even higher (when you can gain it) insurance.
