Will doctors own thier rates controlled by this trial insurance our elected representatives wishes?
Answers: yes
No more so than the cap on payment that the HMO's agree to pay. They won't cover over a absolute amount on specific procedures, and if the doctor wants to accept that insurance, he agrees to the panama. Same with the nationalized option. If they don't want to adopt the insurance, they can charge what they want and not take the insurance and have inhabitants pay out of pocket, just resembling they do now.
Yes. But the Senate & House are both working on a clever compromise that makes it APPEAR that the fed is solitary at arms length; this is a ruse just to get the bill through so that they can progress back and amend it later should they hold to:
>"They said any legislation that emerges from the talks is expected to provide for a nonprofit cooperative to provide insurance in competition with private industry, to some extent than giving the federal government a role in the souk."<
Do not be fooled by this. A similar example is the Aldrich-Vreeland Act which when introduced to the floor in 1911 was almost immediatey shot down, or DOA; never concern, in 1913 the virtually exact same bill, minus just one or two critical sticking points for democrats, be introduced & passed "...for the protection and security of the PEOPLE of the United States..." BS, BS, BS...this was the Federal Reserve Act, the most hideous economically destructive mechanism in record history and most people are just wake up to this...many of them, supposed economic experts. Oh, and those sticking points? You get it. Slipped through a couple years later tagged on to another bill.
Federal Reserve = Quasi private organization/corporation
Federal Gov't aka the Treasury Dept. supposedly at arm's length.
This is authentic BS.
So a "non-profit to sell Health Insurance to keep costs competitive?" WTF?! Are you kid me?
This bill, no matter what it's final disposition, needs to be defeated. Period.
