Insurance rates to be in motion up surrounded by Canada.........Why you might ask?
The insurance companies are saying that they haven't up the rates in years and that the cost of accident is more expensive than before........
Do you think I don`t know that:
The frequency rate of accidents are up due to the number of people doing a tour don't know how to drive
Shouldn't the ministry that issues the license put a simulator in all their office to test these people
The road infrastructure doesn't game to building starts therefore the roads are too busy....duh that's a no brainer
But alas here we are digging into our pockets again, because our powers to be have slipshod us again and we line their pockets for what reason.....
Answers:
Sometimes I wonder if the insurance companies really know what is going on. I remember reading a Canadian article that surprised even the insurance companies. A study of elderly drivers be expected to confirm how hazardous they drove and caused more accidents. But the study in actuality revealed that elderly drivers were even more safer than teenaged drivers!
After having lived within the USA and in Canada, I'm very identifiable with the speeds of the Chicago expressways as well as the hazard of navigating the 401 through the GTA.
What I have done to counter the rising insurance premiums is to put on a pedestal my deductible and drop the collision coverage. I only have liability coverage immediately.
As for making driving safer, maybe mandatory driving tests for respectively renewal would help.
Everything that insurance pays for--parts, repairs, medical costs, labor--costs more today, and the companies' investments have tanked, so the extra money have to come from somewhere. Guess where! It's the same contained by Canada as in every other country.
