Not necessarily little sis. You could have asked me this .lol. You dont earnings the full amount at once.It depends on how you are billed whether it is monthly or every 6 months. For my new car I income $719.00 for my six months but since my car was purchased 6/26/09 I own it prorated from 6/26/09-11/8/09 which is my renewal date every six months so for the dates I just mentioned I pay cheque $526.00 broken down monthly. After now it is $719.00 broken down monthly Source(s): me
Do you already have an stirring policy?
If so, it would depend on where you are at in your residence.
If you make monthly payments, they should just append your vehicle and adjust your monthly payments to make up the pro-rated difference.
If you are just buying your policy (at impossible to tell apart time as your car), you will need to make some generous of payment, but the only time you entail to pay the whole 6 months contained by advance is if you choose to do so. Most companies offer wage plans.
Hope this helps. Source(s): 16 years insurance industry experience.
