Will my insurance rates predictable progress up because of a fender bender?
This morning I accidently hit a woman while pulling out of a parking space. She was coming fast losing me when I hit her, however because I was going at such a slow speed, my bumper put a small shallow dent in the sideboard right above her front tire. However, at hand wasn't a scratch on my car. She made a huge settlement about it, including having the police call to file a report, and also keep dictum she was worried that I knocked her alignment rotten which is complete BS. She also sort of admitted fault to not seeing me when i be backing out. I did not admit any error whatsoever. She will probably file a claim soon when the police report comes out. Should I try to notify my insurance company and give them my side of the story?

Most state law will put the blame on the person backing up, as you hold to make sure it is clear before you start protection up. It might depend on if you live in a no fault state or not. If you are surrounded by a no fault state, each soul would file with their own delivery service. If not, then I would call the claim within and give them your version. Even if you don't and she call your carrier, they would still have to verify facts near you before they do anything. You are probably right, a parking lot accident is too low of speed to product her alignment go off. The decide factors on chargeability will be if you are majority at fault for the misfortune and if the payment goes over a certian threshold that the insurance company have to make it a chargeable loss.
