State Farm Insurance Rates From Fellow Users?
I will be added onto my parent’s policy. I got a 3.0GPA 16 Year old mannish, still in high university I will probably get a late 90's compact or 1/2 ton pickup. Any planning, I herd that it will be around $300 a month. I also have taken driving classes if that help.

Every time I compared their rates they were enormously high. General Casualty and Geico are two that are usually lower priced. But, unless you can get your parents to switch you are stuck beside State Farm. Ask your parents if you can see the policy and then shop around for the same coverage at other companies. It would be a correct learning experience for you and maybe you and your parents could stockpile some money in the process. Good luck. And try not to be one of the many tentative male drivers that kills himself and others by texting or drinking and driving.

I did some poking around on State Farm's website and they recommend that parents get a personal liability umbrella policy (PLUB), lately in case. This is because as a minor, if you hold an accident and you're at fault, they could attain sued.
If you get a older vehicle, let's speak more than 10 years old, you can save money insurance by not carrying the coverage that would repair your vehicle if you're at imperfection or if you do want that coverage, carry a high deductible.
