Will a speeding ticket affect my insurance rates?

This is my first speeding ticket and the cop claims I sped 15 mi over the 25 mph limit. If I plead guilty and pay the fine and attend traffic academy, will this still be reported to my auto insurance company?
Answers:
Traffic college will keep the points off of your license and will not lead to your insurance to go up.
No speeding ticket will not affect your insurance rates. Source(s): http://www.autoinsureusa.info/
No one will ever know that you got a speeding ticket if you take traffic institution. Also, you should research your rights before you plead guilty. I would try to contest the ticket first, and if that fails, negotiate with the judge for a tightening in fines and traffic school for pleading guilty.
YES.. they will.
